  • 1.  SEPM dash board - up to date clients

    Hi,

    In SEPM home page under Endpoint Status..when i click on up-to-date client..it shows some clients which is actually not up-to-date.

    Please check the attachment..

    What Exact SEPM version are you using ?

    Have you check Client Side this system are updated or not ?

    If you are not using SEPM 12.1.5 ,you can upgrade your sepm.

    In SEPM 12.1.5 many fixes and fixed

    New fixes and features in Symantec Endpoint Protection and Network Access Control 12.1.5

    I am running with SEPM 12.1.4 MP1a.

    I have noticed this for the client which is on remote location and connecting to SEPM over interent.

    When did you install SEP clients on those machines which shows as up-to-date in SEPM dash borad ?

    Also..If you install SEP client using the package which was exported long back, There is a chances of showing those clients under 'Up-to-date' column for only one day.

    This might be a bug...but i don't see this kind of issues mentioned in 12.1.5 Release notes.

    If you check those client on the Clients page, do they show as having the latest definitions?

    Even Client page shows the same date as mentioned in my previous screen shot.

    Yes. you are correct. those clients are installed today using the client package exported from SEPM last month.

    And they were showing as up-to-date on SEPM home tab for a while, then now it disappeared from that list.

    still, if i open client details from SEPM home tab, it doesn't show that its out-of-date

    Yes. as i said SEPM takes really bit longer time to filter those clients to put in to the right place post installation. especially when you use old install package to install and if you have LU policy setup not to download updates from SEPM and also directly from Symantec...so its really a bug..so better to upgrade to 12.1.5, if you are running with older version of SEPM.
