  • 1.  SEPM Deployment Wizard Problem

    Hi Everyone,

    I just finished installing SEPM RU6 MP2 on a Windows Server 2008 64bit.

The problem is, when I try to create my own package using Migration and Deployment Wizard, after typing the name of the group it does not go to the next step where I should choose the content of the package it only shows the loading bar for a few seconds then the option of writing a new group or choosing an existing package will be shown again.

My workaround is to export the existing packages found on SEPM Installation Packages.

Can anyone help me to troubleshoot my problem?

FYI, deploying the exported installer using the Migration and Deployment Wizard works.

Had same issue on SBS 2008

Either run Deployment Wizard as admin (right click - run as admin) or turn off UAC (requires reboot)

    start - run

    %temp%

    delete all temp files

    disable UAC

    reboot

    try again..

Agreed with GWA, run as Admin
