SEPM doesnot reflecting correct information about client.

  • 1.  SEPM doesnot reflecting correct information about client.

    SEPM reflecting incorrect client count information on home page tab however there is less client count listing in computer status report. 

    There are 6 SEPM in our inviornment and one is primary and rest five are replication partner SEPM server.

    we are using SEPM 12.1.2 RU2, Is this a bug with this product? Please help me on this.

    Check pete comments

    home page displays last 12 hours information by default and maximum upto last 24 hours.

    can you post the screenshot?

    how much is the discrepency?

    the home page is meant for last 12 hrs..hence there might be discrepency.

    Thanks James,

     

    But here the defference of the clients are big approx 3000 to 4000  client as at home page total client count is approx 10,000 however exported a computer status report and there is only approx 5500 clinets are appearing.

    are you exporting the report for last 24 hrs? and is it only for online clients?

    On the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) Home Page, the Endpoint Status count adds up to more clients than exist in the environment

    Hi Pete,

    There is big discrepency b/w home page client count and computer status report count approx 3000 to 4000, i have attached the screenshot of the SEPM home page. Please go through with it and help me out.

    Pete,

     

    Yes i am exporting report by using 24 hrs filter tab but its for all client including offine.

    Hi Dinesh,

    Does you have configured Delete Inactive client ?

    How to configure the number of days after which inactive clients will be deleted from the SEPM database.

    how many clients are there in network?

    can you open a support ticket as well?

    Hi James,

     

    Its already configured on SEPM server with 30 days.

     

    But this option is at different place on SEPM1 2.1.2 RU2 like 

    Open SEPM console

    Select "Admin" tab on the left

    Select "Domains" second option from top

    Select "Edit Domains property from tasks options.

    Pete,

     

    There are approx 9000 to 10000 clients exist in the network.

    I am tring to open a ticket online but there is an like page can't open while clicking on create support case option.

     

    Anyway i will call to support for the same.

    Can you reduse some days like 15 days.

    How many client available in your environment ?
