Hi, I have the same problem like here : http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/sepm-has-new-content-clients-not-updating

The client SEP have green dot on the SEPM (v11.0.6200.754), this last could dowmload the last definition, but it could'nt update the client via puschconnection.

The telnet whit port 80 and 443 work.

The client could manually download the definition via http://10.18.4.15:80/content/{C60DC234-65F9-4674-94AE-62158EFCA433}/120314035/full.zip

You could find log from SyslinkMonitor in attachement.

And in exsecars.log I had all the time this log :

    03/15 16:47:41 [2924:5248] Open File Error E:\SymantecEndpointProtection\Serverdata\outbox\agent\352259DE0A12040F00F79A7E79712215\index.xml

    03/15 16:47:41 [2924:5248] Update Profile Serial Number failed! GroupID=352259DE0A12040F00F79A7E79712215

    But this file don't exist.

If anybody have an idea, thank you.

    Hi Luxors,

I experience same problem like you, ours is due to corrupted policy link that cause the small group of clients failed to recevie the content update from SEPM despite it is online.

Telnet to port 443 and 80 work fine.

you can run the dbvalidator tool to check the integrity of the SEPM database. if result return failed, then you might consider to get help from support.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply, all client are updated now.

Apparently the problem comed from a corrupt log from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveUpdate\Log.LiveUpdate
