  • 1.  SEPM hold on the Logging in page(Local SEPM) & remote java console missing HOME, REPORT, MONITOR

    I installed a SEPM(Version: 11.0.2020.56) on Window Server 2003 R2 SP2 with SQL 2005

    I can't logon the console at local SEPM. After I input ID and PW, the "Logging on to the management Server" hold on and no any response.

    Then, I try to logon remote java console. This time was success but no anything shown on the right hand side when I click on "Home", "Report" and "Monitor". (Normal at "Policies", "Clients", "Admin")

    Any solution about it?

    Firstly you are using very old version of the SEP, use the latest SEP 11 RU7 or SEP 12.

    Are you using proxy ? DO you see any error ?

    You installed the version which was released more than 3 years ago (July 2008). I strongly suggest you to install the newest version as suggested by pete_4u2002:

    11.0.7000.975 or 12.1.671.4971

    I would like to know that any conflict if I install SEPM throw remote desktop

    You can use the remote desktop but use teh console or admin view.

    I can't use another version because of some reason.

    No proxy is using and no any error.

    Check if u have enhanced IE security enabled.

    whats the version of Java u have installed?

    I have tried both 1.5.x and 1.6.x, but still have problem. I just use VNC instead of Remote desktop(reinstall all about SQL and SEPM), problem still here...

    Will check IE later

    Hi Kevin,

    Have you tried upgrading to a later release?
    Did you face any problem during SQL Server installation? Maybe the problem has to do with SQL2005.

    If you have less than 100 clients dont complicate your life with SQL Svr - try installing it with the embeded database and see if you get the same result.
