SEPM Homepage not pulling up

Greetings,

Strange but I went to production with SEPM two days ago and everything seemed to be working ok.  Yesterday I login to SEPM and am faced with a blank IE window.  When I close it I see the SEPM console but can get nothing to pull up on Home, Monitors, or Reports.

Also...just realized that IE has quit working on the manager and all of my clients.  Is there anyway or policy that causes SEPM to lockdown IE?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

Hello Gdude,

Are you logging in remote to the SEPM SErvers or local to it? if so log in with mstsc / console session.

have made any java update( if so remove them)

Check this document should help you out

Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager: Home, Reports, and Monitor pages are blank and no error messages are displayed

If you open SEPM on port 9090

If you open SEPM on port 9090 on a different machine does that have the same issue?

I think this may have to something with the IE settings in SEPM machine.

Best,
Aniket

Both Thanks for your

Both

Thanks for your responses...sitll no luck.

Rafeeq,

I configured the database as required and still no luck.  Even tried a few other things that plagued me when I ran into SEPM connectivity issues on development side.  I am logging into SEPM via remote desktop but that was not an issue ysterday morning when everything was running fine...not sure why it would be now.  Also...I have not installed any application (Windows, Java...) recently.

Aniket,

Not sure how to open SEPM, as you suggest, from a different machine.

Both...please keep in mind that IE functionality has shut down across all of my clients.  Not just the managment machine.

When I login...I briefly get the SEPM console window then it is immediatly covered by a seperate IE window that remains blank.  I try the monitor button and get the same IE popup.  I hten try the reports button and get error:

"Internet Explorer cannot download reports.php from localhost.  Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site.  The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found.  Please try again later"

Cannot add site to IE trusted

Cannot add site to IE trusted because cannot even access tool menu in IE.

removed and installed console and java as directed and am still experiencing same issue.

I did try a restart of one of the clients and that appeared to solve the issue.  I will have to wait till this weekend to restart other critcial systems then I will post the results.

Thanks
