  • 1.  SEPM ImportPackage folder

    Hello All,

    I have check some topic in this forum but something cannot sure, hope u all can give me a help, thanks.

    I have an SEPM 12.1 with 3 Client Versions ( Win32/Win64/Mac ) of Package shown on SEPM admin panel 

    and the total size for ImportPackage folder is almost 12GB, and keep arround 300 files here (installed date until now), the files' size is XXKB ~ 400MB, is it normal or any file here i can delete??

    If sep package are old you can delete that sep package if you will received any problem you can again import that package

    High Disk Space is being consumed by C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\outbox\Importpackage

    Yes, stop the SEPM service and you can safely delete!

    Hello All,

    Thanks for your reply, i delete the last year files and release almost 3GB space, it seems eveything is ruuning normal and i will keep monitior this week, thanks!!!

    I would also suggest getting to the latest 12.1 version which is 12.1 RU4 MP1a.

    Best practices for upgrading to the latest version of Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.x

    If you want to Increased or decreased logs you can adjustments that settings.

    If want to saved logs more than 60 days you can saved logs in Syslog server.
