Hi,

We have a SEPM server installed on an English operating system. I have created 32bit and 64bit installation packages for our clients. I'm now setting up LiveUpdate Administrator and would like to confirm that I should be downloading all languages, not just English.

I ask because I'm not sure if the client packages I created from the SEPM, can be used on non-English operating systems. If yes, then I guess I would need all possible languages; especially in our devlopment environment where non-English operating systems do exist.

Just looking for confirmation on the above.

English packages can be installed on English and non-english OS without issues.

Secondly, In LUA only English can be selected. Check this Article:

About Symantec Endpoint Protection and mixed language environments

English packages can be installed on non-english OS without issues - the SEP client GUI will be simply in English and not in the language of the OS. Definitions will cover these clients without any problems as well - the language of the OS does not play here any meaning for the definitions.
