Endpoint Protection

I downloaded the jdb file for SEPM on 64 bit.

Copied it to c:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\inbox\content\incoming

I see a folder being created and then disappear. then get created again. and then disappear again.

I expect this to update the SEPM server and then the files get deleted.

            It is normal, Create different Folders for updates. These Check these folders,

 "C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Inetpub\content\{C60DC234-65F9-4674-94AE-62158EFCA433}"
64-bit definitions: "C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Inetpub\content\{1CD85198-26C6-4bac-8C72-5D34B025DE35}"

For some time the folders are created and Disappears but it still keep doing that for several minutes.

You have check for the Space for the Drive where the updates are installed.

It might be an issue with the low space in the drive.

This is a new server. :D

The update did work. Sometimes, it loops, sometimes it doesn't.

Moral of the story. If it loops, try and delete the file and download a new one. And have patience and see if it disappears.

It's working now. :D
