SEPM is not reflecting Updated

The Symantec Endpoint protection Manager is reflecting as not updated on the SEPM Dashboard dated 3 Dec 2012 even after the Virus definations are Up to date on the server.I ran the LUALL.exe file to check if Update is happening properly & Update happens properly but on Console it reflects that the SEPm is not updated.Any soultion for this issue

Do you have plenty of space available on C:?

You can run LU manually from Admin page >> Servers. You should be able to watch to see if any errors show up.

Hello,

What version of SEPM are you running?

Make sure you are running the Latest Version of SEPM 12.1 RU2

Could you check the SEPM  >> Admin >> Servers >> Highlight Local Site (site SEPM) >> Show Liveupdate Downloads ?? Could you please upload the screenshot of the same?

Our symantec version is 11.0.7000.975 and we reinstalled the live update component ,updated the catlog file for the same ,but still the issue persists the definations are 3rd dec 2012

Hi,

Please go through :-

 

Login in SEPM >go to the admin tab >Click on server >Then click on Local Site (Site SEPM-SERVER) > 

Then click on Show Liveupdates Downloads.

and then check the date of definition and let me know.

Yep already done that still Antivirus & Antispyware definations are not getting updated the update fails .Truscan & IPS signatures are getting Updated properly

Also did it manaully by downloading the jdb file  and putting it in the location

 

C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\inbox\content\incoming.

 

Still doesn't work

It means the virus defs are corrupt. Please clear the corrupted defs as described in the KB

open a support ticket and collect the sst logs from the sepm

I did a manul update via jdb file and now I see one folder with latest defination file D:\{C60DC234-65F9-4674-94AE-62158EFCA433} but as soon as we run Liveupdate from local site download live update the file changes back to 121203019 from 121213025
