I am running SEPM version 12.1.4104.4130 on Server 2012 R2 we have office 365 for email. Has anyone else had an issue getting SEPM to work with office 365?
What issues are you having? SEPM is always recommended to be on its own server.
This is what i get.
To utilize email alerts, an existing SMTP server must be present in the environment. Additionally, the credentials passed to this server from SEPM must be configured to allow sending of email.
So since we got rid of our in house exchange server it wont work and SEPM doesnt work with office 365 is what your saying.
I would request you to use in houre exchange server and if faced any issue support team can definitely try to isolate an issue.
Thanks im not going to have a server in house just for SEPM if office 365 wont work with it than so be it. Thanks for the help
