    Hi,

I need help on setting up the configuration for push the live updates definition through SEPM. I have installed the SEPM it's updated but how i can instead of pointing the live update to symantec servers but to local SEPM..

Does SEPM download the updates and distribute to clients?

    Thank you

SEPM will download all the content it needs from Symantec. Once it updates you can then have the clients connect to the SEPM to grab updates instead of going out to the Internet.

Go into your LiveUpdate policy and on the Server Settings tab make sure 'Use the default management server' is checked. Clients will be able to get updates from the SEPM this way.

Did you install the SEP clients first, and have since installed a SEPM afterwards?

If so, then you first need to point the existing (unmanaged) SEP clients at the new SEPM for management and updates, in order for them to grab definitions from the SEPM.  Please review the below articles to help:

Once they are managed SEP clients, they will pick up defs from the SEPM by default (i.e. the default settings of the LiveUpdate Settings policy enable the "Use the default Management Server" option Brian mentions above, Thumbs Up BTW!)
