SEPM Replication Stuck

SEPM Replication Stuck from a site to another one. On first SEPM site status is showing status as downloading 10% for a long time and on another SEPM site status showing as failed.

SEPM Version: MR4 MP2.

Replication Frequency: Hourly

Please suggest way to resolved it.

Try breaking replication then configure it back. If it still does not work, as you mentioned it takes a long time before failing, it might be caused by bandwidth issues (reach 4 hours timeout value before completing replication). Please refer to offline replication procedure as well (http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH95122).

Finally, if it's still not working, you would need to open a support case and provide replication logs to support member for deeper analysis.

restart the server and initiate replication

8443 port should be opend both side between replication server. Stop the all nessary services and only run replication.

Also check the network traffic....network traffic should be smoth between replication server.

Change the replication schedule to daily. Then restart both servers and try once.

I dont know the root cause of problem.

when i checked it next day, problem was resolved.

you can check the scm-server-log when it happens again, ansyways glad to hear that the issue is fixed!

You can check replication logs in SEPM to find the reason why it failed

SEPm- Monitor - Logs- System - Administrative -Advanced Settings - Event Type -Replication Logs
