    Good afternoon,

I am writing today to hopefully get some help before going to Symantec Support.  I currently have a new Symantec Endpoint Protection Server configured.  I have started to migrate some clients over to the new server, however, the Reporting feature does not seem to be working.

When I click on one of the numbers in the Viruses or Security Risks columns, in the Action Summary by Detection Count section on the Home Page in the SEPM, my browser opens up to a page that shows "Loading...." and nothing ever appears on the screen.  I have attached snapshots of what my screens look like when I try to get information on a system.  Granted, all of my numbers are 0 right now, but if a system pops up with a Virus or Risk, I am concerned that I won't be able to get good info on the system if the reporting is not working.

The same thing happens when I click on the numbers under the Computers column under the Status Summary section.  When I was migrating some of my clients, it showed that one of the systems required a restart.  The number in the column showed a 1, but when I clicked on it, I just got the web page shown in the attached.

Also, under the Favorite Reports section, when I click on any of those l links, I get the same result in my web page.

It is as though my reporting is not working properly and I am not sure why.  Could it be a port problem.  Everytime I click on a link, it takes me to the same address:  http://localhost:8014/Reporting/Resources/filter_nonfound.php?option=1

When I took the SEP class, I don't recall configuring anything specific for this to work when we did the initial installation of SEPM.

If anyone can help me or has any idea what my problem may be, I would be most greatful.

    Thank you,
    Lawrin Walker

Is  Content Advisor inf IE enabled?

    If yes then disable it.

    1. Open IE--- > Tools--- > Internet Options.
    2. Move to "Content" tab then click "Disable" to disable Content Advisor.

Also  , add  http://localhost,  to the trusted sites list.

What is the operating system of your Server
if its windows 2008 then right click on the SEPM & click run as a admin before loging into SEPM.

Thanks for the response.  Content Advisor was already disabled in IE.  I added http://localhost to my Trusted Sites list, but this still did not seem to resolve my problem.

Thank you so much for your response.  My operating system is Windows 2008 Server.  I can't believe that something so simple resolved my problem.  Thank you again.
