  • 1.  SEPM Reports Page not Working

    Posted Sep 25, 2015 07:15 AM

We've never been able to use the Reports page in SEPM and I'm trying to get that working.

    Possible related factors:

    • We have a stand-alone network with absolutely no connection to the internet.
    • When we first login to SEPM we always get two identical error messages saying:
"Content within this application coming from the website listed below is being blocked by Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration."
...then it names the SEPM server as https://<sepmserver>
    • The above settings are controlled by GPO.
    • We are using the most current version of SEPM.

Is it necessary to have this connection to IE in order to view/use the Reports page?

    Thank you!

Have you tried turning off IE enhanced security? This has been an issue in the past.

    try this article

Continuous pop-ups when opening reports in Endpoint Protection Manager

also please have the IE  enhanced security disabled as this caused compatibility issues in the past.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Symantec community.

This error can occur for the following reasons:

    • Ports to the reporting server are blocked
    • SEPM/PHP directory permissions
    • IE security settings
    • IIS permissions on virtual directories (e.g. IIS lockdown procedures, Active Directory permissions, etc...)
    • Apache configuration issues

Refer this guide: The Home, Monitors, Reporting pages fail to appear when you launch the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager or Symantec Protection Center.
