  • 1.  SEPM requesting login to Symantec Reporting

    Hello

I'm not sure what's changed on my server (SEPM SBE 12.1 RU5), but I can no longer view report links under Monitors/Notifications.

I recieve a popup window that asks "Enter your user name and password to log on to Symantec Reporting".  Entering the known login password results in the home summary screen being duplicated and I need to log out of SEPM to correct.

Seems similar to https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/enter-your-user-name-and-password-log-symantec-reporting which I have followed but no change.

The only change I can think of is the server is now multi-homed, but the DNS is all correct and working as far as I can see.  Seems to be only the Montors/Notifications section when I try to view a report link.  Everything in the Reports section seems to work ok.

    Ideas?

Did either of the suggestions fix it?

Did this just start or has something recently changed?

Brian, like i said in my post, nothing fixed it, I wouldnt have posted a new forum item if it was working :)  I can't be sure when it started but I suspect since the multihoming as I mentioned, but I can't be sure and obviously can't revert the multihoming to test anyway.

I just did a fresh install of SEPM and am getting the same prompt for a usename/password/domain.

I checked the KB's listed above and everything is configured as prescribed.

    Any other ideas?

Do you have proxy configured in IE?
