Endpoint Protection

dear guy

currently i build 2 new server with windows 2012 STD R2 and SEPM 12 RU5 + SCCM agent installed, when server running few day there are show too much error and services SEPM stop, and then client cannot connect to SEPM server . have somebody face this problem ?

Just do a repair of SEPM  from add/remove programs

Already do it before but nothing change, do you have another solution ?

try to manually start the service, after that follow this

- Stop "Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager service"

- Navigate to control Panel

- Open Java console options

- Click on Java Tab

- Open "View" option ( JAVA Runtime Environment Settings -> JAVA Runtime Versions)

- Disable / uncheck Support for JAVA Platform 1.6

- Click on "OK"

- Restart  "Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager service"

there are Platform show : 1.8  , dont have 1.6 . So i dont need to uncheck , right ?

Do you received any error when restart SEPM service ?

nothing error show when restart service .

i cannot uncheck , cannot uncheck the button in "Enable" 

uninstall all the versions of java installed

open IE

http://SEPMSERVERIP:9090

this should install required version of java

restart the sepm service.

i had install java 7.5 of SEPM ,1  day monitor after that i will tell you result

i have 2 server , 1  failed , 1 good ( so far not failed services, i checking services by telnet port 8014, if failed i cannot telnet port 8014 ,  ) 

With SCCM do you also have microsoft endpoint protection installed?

sccm auto deploy when join domain, how to check it ?

on the task bar next to clock you will see microsoft endpoint protection.

or you can check the drive to see if it exists.check if you have enabled this role in SCCM

if this is not sccm problem,  so have anything ?
