  • 1.  SEPM Server has been moved

I recently moved my sepm server from machine 1 to machine 2. I set up replication from 1 to 2 and made 2 the priority. The services have been stopped on machine 1 so that the clients do not report to that one any longer since we are moving off of that one. However, when I install new clients, they still point to machine 1 but need to point to machine 2. Should I delete the current packages and create all new ones from machine 2 or is there a differenct way so the new clients report to the new server from the existing package?

The way i did the cutover was from this link http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH104389.  Moving from one machine to another.

In method 2, step 9 I had already set up the priority to make machine 2 the priority. Am I basically just removing machine 1 from this or is this a whole different management list to replace the one made during the switch?
