  • 1.  SEPM Server - Network Card at 99% CPU Utilization

    Posted Mar 10, 2010 12:33 PM
After upgrading my SEPM Server I've noticed at 12:00 PM everyday (For the past two days), my Network Activity jumps to 99%.

Yesterday when this happened I bounced the server and lost my SEPM Management Console, I had to run a repair on it in order to salvage.

Anyone seen this happen before?  CPU and Memory both fine, but ping time to server is 3500ms and jumping to 4000.  Network activity as 99%

    Thoughts?

Is this only happening when you installed the SEPM Server? Can you replace the network card?

     Hi,

You can use the sysinternals tools. Like, TCPView, Process Explorer etc.

That will enable you to isolate the process/service consuming the network bandwidth.

You can also run wireshark and post the logs as an attachment to your post. We can analyze the logs to determine the destination/source of the traffic to isolate the service using it.
