Hi everybody.

When i use SEPM to find unmanaged computers and wish to install SEPM on them - will SEPM automatically uninstall existing antivirus software ?

It will automatically remove and install SEPM If SAV (Symantec Antivirus) in place. But not sure about other AV.

If any other is unable to remove after deploying SEP then try below URL which help you to remove any AV and install SEP centrally:

...but is not normally enabled.  If you look within the 2nd SEP media download called 'Tools and Documents" under Tools\NoSupport youll see a 'CompetitiveUninstall' folder.

Look in there for a couple of tools that can remove programs from other vendors.  Don't forget to remove the 'Tamper Protection' equivalent of the other software before running this!

If you're removing McAfee, I'd strongly recommend for you to use the McAfee Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR.exe), in our case, we've had problems on some workstations because it wasn't full removed with Symantec's removal tool. 

One more suggestion if you have Mcafee managed with EPO. The same can we removed from EPO console. (Centrally)

In our case after removing the clients using EPO there was still some junk left behind that impacted with SEP installation.
