    Hello,

Ofter deployment of SYM14-004 Symantec Endpoint Protection Management Vulnerabilities into our SEPM Server. It push out Newert version of SEP to Servers and Computers. Per my understanding this wasn't going to affect the client and the client wasn't going to get updated.

    Thanks

    Ruben

right, its only for SEPM not for clients

Q: Am I required to update to the Symantec Endpoint Protection client?

A: No. Only the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager requires an update. There are no client-side changes

I understand that it shouldn't affect client or other SEP but the SEPM. But It affected all our devices. It started to push out updates and it install the newest version of SEP. I can provide you log if require?

    Thanks

my guess was right, the clients were trying to download packages and it was assgined to the group, remove them  and it would fix the issue.
