Can anyone explain why the install package I assigned today, to upgrade clients from 11.05 to 11.06a, with a schedule of 17:10-23:59 over 1 day, has already (as of 13:35) upgraded approx 50% of the clients in the group?

    Thanks for the feedback, Vikram.

Does anyone from Symantec wish to comment?

Have not had that problem. When using that feature, my clients always take a long time to update.

You may want to put in a call to support.

Whether the system time for your SEPM and SEP clients are same?

@kornholio: wait some more. The date set on the SEPM server applies to the clients system time. Clients will only get the command when they get the latest update based on your heartbeat interval and add to that the window in which when to implement it.

system times for SEPM and SEP clients are in sync.  MON_RARALIO...I don't follow--from how I read your comment, you are saying it's possible for clients to continue to upgrade after the specified time because of when they checked in with the SEPM.

But that isn't what I'm seeing--clients are upgrading before the time specified, as if the set schedule didn't exist and they started upgrading as soon as they checked in with the SEPM and saw that an upgrade package was available.
