Endpoint Protection

I am having a problem with scanning, in particular "full scan". I set it up to run, it started, my computer has been on for over 12 hours, and the message shows that the full scan is running.The log doesn't show that the scan is running or that it was ever started, completed or aborted. This is a new computer and there isn't that much on ot to take this long too scan. I'm not very familiar with all of this, so please, any anwer in the simplest words will be appreciated:-)

 Scan might be stuck at some file. Restart your computer and run the scan again.

I restarted the computer and the scan is stll running according to the "Status". Any other ideas?

 Run the scan again and check does it says queued or it start running ?

It appears to have started a new scan...at least the log now gives the date, time,scan running and manual. Now to see if it will complete the scan and try to figure out why it doesn't start from the 'created scan'. Thank you andI will mark as solution if this works!

If that does not work. Run SymRmvScan" Utility' . I am trying to  PM that to you. but getting an acess denied

Scan was completed per risk report, but still indicates scan 'running' in log and 'scan in progress' on status?? Can I go to program Uninstall and remove this safely?I don't like this program at all. Have numerous problems with it!! Think I'll try some other software.

What is PM? What should happen if I do as you suggest? I don't want any surprises:-) I'm quite new to all of this!

 PM is Private Message. Click on his Name then Click on Send this user a Message. Once you send him a message he can send you that utility.

Or just a simple Un-install reboot and re-install.
