Endpoint Protection

I'm currently unable to start the SEPM service at all, it says that "the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager on the local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs" I've tried running the dbvalidator.bat file. But still no luck at all, can someone please help.

Got the the event viwer tell  what is the error that you have , Java 1 or Java -1?

You can also check the scm-server-0.log located in Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tomcat\Logs.

This should show some sort of error code, most likely an http return code. If you need assistance reviewing the log please paste the contents here and we can take a look.

Try by repairing SEPM from add/remove programs and do a reconfiguration ...

Sounds like some database issues to me. You running the embedded database? Do you have a backup of the database?
