Endpoint Protection

Hallo zusammen, ich habe das problem das auf dme Server die komplette C: partition zuläuft, und SEPM ganze 25GB platz frisst.

SEPM Version: 12.1.3001.165

Ich habe schon gesucht und auch teilweise was gefunden, indem man die vorhaltenen versionen reduziert, diese hab ich aktuell auf 2 gesetzt (wir haben nur 25 clients im einsatz).

Und ich habe auch schon etwas gefunden um die embedded DB zu verkleinern, diese brauch jedoch nur 4GB, also habe ich dies gleich übersprungen.

Besteht irgendwie die möglichkeit die gesamte installation auf eine andere Partition auf diesem server umzuziehen? Wenn ja: wie?

Which folder is taking up the space? Sem5.db or inetpub\content folder?

1. Open the \Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Protection Center\tomcat\etc\conf.properties file.
2. Add the following setting to the file, (the example uses a value of 5, adjust the value as necessary, the default value is 10 if no entry is present)

   scm.lucontentcleanup.threshold=3

3. Close the conf.properties file and click Yes to save your changes.
4. Click Start > Run.
5. Type services.msc and click OK.
6. Right-click on Symantec Protection Center, and click Restart.
7. Close Services.

@Rafeeq, the folder sizes are roughly:

DB=4GB
inetpub=6GB
data\outbox\importPackage=15GB

for this solution i dont have the Symantec protection Center, i have symantec endpoint protection manager, but i think i can use this line there also, or?!

I am currently using the solution from _Brian with moving it to in other partition if it work, then it is ok, and that for what i was looking, but i didnt ever thougt that an easy hard copy will work.. :).
