  • 1.  SEPM12.1 RU1 Definition update .jdb creates a .err file

    We have SEPM 12.1 RU1 Manager installed on a Windows XP machine, we tried to copy the .jdb file to C:\Program Files\Symantec \Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\inbox\content \incoming.

    It was working fine until recently we have noticed that the .jdb file is generating a .jdb.err file

    What does this error mean? How do i solve it?

    have you try to reinstall SEPM live update ?

    Reinstall LiveUpdate for Endpoint Protection Manager 12.1

    We do not connect the SEPM server to Internet ie., we do not use live update. Should i still uninstall Live update and check?

    Yes you need to uninstall Live update

    Thanks James,

    It was sheer oversight. There was not enough space in C:\ drive. I cleared it and problem seems to be resolved. Thanks for the support.
