  • 1.  SEPv11 RU5 CD1 corrupted on Platinum/BCS download site

    It appears that CD1 for the latest RU5 release is corrupted. I've downloaded it several times from the Platinum / BCS site and each time I get an invalid archive error when opening it. CD2 appears to be fine.

    Anyone else downloading from Platinum having this issue?

    Sometimes you need to unblock the ZIP file.. go to the properties of the ZIP file and click Unblock- apply..then try to extract it.

    My download shows - CD1 - 205,336,942 bytes, CD2 - 305,161,590 bytes

    CD1 = 522,867 via Vista

    Under properties (via Vista) ->
    Size on disk:  510 MB (535,416,832 bytes)

    Size: 510 MB (535,415,304 bytes)


    thatdude isn't getting a good file. It's not a matter of blocking, etc. - the file download isn't correct.

    I agree it should be over 500mb but my CD1 is less than half. CD2 was just fine. I'm downloading again to see if it's been changed.

    Downloading CD1 now and it appears to be sending down more bits. I wonder if someone fixed this issue. I'll know in a few minutes.

    Its working now. CD1 download is complete. I wonder if Symantec uploaded the bits again.

    Browser crashed during post, now cant delete duplicate.
