Good day all,
I'm having an issue with sequential tasks. I have built a sequential task package that performs 7 application tasks. After step 5 (Cisco VPN 4.0.5 uninstall with reboot suppressed), the computer restarts. I have configured that package to "restart computer" "after running". After the computer restarts, steps 6 and 7 never start. Their status remains "Task never started". I've waited for several hours for the remaining two tasks to run, and they never do. Step 6 does have a dependency on Step 5, but Step 5 completes successfully. If I actually click to run the Software Delivery Task for Step 6 and then Step 7 in the Application Task window of Altiris Agent Software Delivery tab, they both run successfully, but I can never get those two final tasks to fire off in sequence as they should following the reboot. Needing help on this. Any suggestions?
