Server 2008 UpgradeS

Recently I upgraded a virtual member server in our domain to Server 2008, I am trying to upgrade the SAV Client from 10.1 to 10.2 however it keeps getting rejected saying "This Version of Symantec anti-virus does not support Vista platforms".
The disk is fine with clean builds and installations.
Is a complete un-install of 10.1 and reinstall the only option?
