I run 4 installs of SEP 12 RU2 on my servers but after the installation, I got an error saying " This program has compatibility issues". 

Isnt SEP12 RU2 already working with Windows server 2012?

Is there a different way of installing SEP12?

OS: Win server 2012

Support for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 is introduced with the release of SEP 12.1 Release Update 2 (RU2).  SEP 12.1 RU2 is the earliest supported build that is compatable with Windows 8 and Server 2012

Verify you are using RU2. Version should be 12.1.2015.2015

did you select the correct package i.e. 64 bit?

Yes , SEP 12.1.2 it's support windows 2012

First you can verify you can install right package.

Try to export new SEP 64 bit package and try to reinstall sep client.

That's why I wanted you to verify the version. Either that or make sure your using the correct architecture. 32 bit package on 32 bit server or 64 bit package on 64 bit server. If this is incorrect, you will get this mesasge.

everyone, thanks for the suggestions. I finally resolved the issue. apparently, my colleague sent me a wrong installer. although the folder name is SEP12, the actual version is SEP11 RU6.
