Ghost Solution Suite

Hi

I have just installed GSS, and made an image of a client machine (win xp).
When I try to deploy the image to a client, all seems fine and the task terminates ok.
In the log file, I get the warning that the machine account is malfunctioning in the process - that it cant find the path to my domain server (win server 2003), and thus cant create a machine account...
I somewhat think that the account setup is at fault, or the error lies in the settings for the account in the domain server.
I have no problems creating, deleting or otherwise manipulating users and machines with this account myself - so why the heck cant Ghost manipulate machine accounts?

Hi Zigge,

Usually this indicates a DNS related problem. By looking at the description of the error message, Console could not find the primary domain controller for the Domain.

How many domain controllers you have for this domain? Is there any possibility that the domain controller acts as primary is not operational? This some times happen when the domain controller is moved but DNS still keeps the old entries.
