Server Error /Altiris/Reporting when running a report

Dear All,

Has anyone else had an unknown error Server Error /Altiris/Reporting when running reports? At first, this was just running a slow report, but now it is pretty much EVERY report! I canot see anything in the LogViewer for this.

Do I need to repair the Reporting Application, do you think?

Hi ,

Please tell me your NS and Data base server are located on same server.

No. Separate servers. I think that it was due to abnormal load upon the NS and this caused the report(s) to stop working at all as everything was trying to update at once!

I think that the issue was a high incidence of Inventory data from clients. Once I dialled back on this and made the policies send back over a long time, the system started to work again.
