for the last month the servers that run symantec protection engine for nas randomly freeze and the only way to unfreeze them is restart.
the serves lose the ping and we cant move the mouse or do anything untill we force them into restart from the vmware.
we havent made any changes in the servers and there are no logs that indicate about a problem.
the event veiwer just has no logs from when the servers are frozen and no errors before it freezes.
we thought it was a problem in the hardware so we deleted the servers and installed new ones yet the problem is still happening.
is their any way to tell if the problem is caused by the application?
we've been using the spe for nas for years now and its the first time we encounter this problem. the servers worked fine before and no other servers have this but those with the spe application installed.
