...via a remote client, it will load for a long time and never even get to the sections I want it to get to...If I access on the main server I do not have this issue, but from my PC it can take forever to load. I want this functionality on my PC and on other admins PC's so they can look up PC's and IP addresses, but being stuck at the loading screen is not helpful. In the entire time it has taken me to write this, it is STILL loading.

What can I do to adjust this?

What version of SEP 12.1 are you running?

Secondly, what version of Java are you running, Make sure you are not running the Java 7 on your machine as it is not supported as of now. Install the Java 1.6 Update 31 instead.

Here are the steps with Java 1.6 update 31 to access SEPM via Java console:

1. Make sure you have installed the latest version of Java 1.6 update 31 installed on the SEPM server.
2. Open a web browser and go to: http://localhost:9090/
3. Once the site comes up click the "DOWNLOAD & LOG IN" link (the upper right hand button).  This should launch the remote console.
4. If you get a Java security error that says "Block potentially unsafe components from being run?" click "No".

can you try uninstalling existing java version and download from the SEPM webconsole feature asks for

Try clearing Java cache - 

To clear the Java cache

1. Click Start > Control Panel.
2. Double-click Java.
3. On the General tab, under Temporary Internet Files, click Settings.
4. Click Delete Files.
5. Make sure all boxes are checked, and click OK.
6. Click OK to close the dialog boxes.

In your case there is no error however could you please check the console logs i.e. SCM-UI.log/SCM-UI.err logs

These logs will be present under %temp%

This log tracks what is happening in the UI of the SEPM.

Could you confirm IE version? Enhanced security is enabled?

Certain Internet Explorer enhanced security settings can prevent the loading of pages in the SEPM console.

Try to acces the console with the hostname instead of IP address or vice versa.
