Server Management - how to create a policy

Hello all,

Is there a way to monitor Event Logs (Errors only) from managed Windows servers? I'd like to create a policy where it automatically Emails Domain Admins for any errors in the NT Event Logs. 'appreciate your help on this. I'm currently using NS 7.0 and have both client and server management solutions. Thanks.

- yes we can create a policy which will automatically send Email to Domain Admins for any errors in the NT Event Logs
steps to create policy:
1. On smp console go to - manage -> policies -> Monitoring and Altering -> Rule Library
2. On Rule Library click on New rule and select NT Event
3. On "New NT Event Rule" add new metrics
- On "New Metric Evaluation" enter data as "Logfile Equal to System"
4. In Actions section set severity to critical and add new Task Server task for sending emails
