    Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if Symantec Server Management Suite is a multi-tenant tool ?

For example, if there is one single Symantec Server Management Suite instance in my datacenter, is it possible to share this instance between 2 outsourcers, each outsourcer managing its own scope of devices and can't manage the other scopes in an hermetic way, each outsourcer acessing their own repository ?

    Thanks for any feedback,

    Laurent

    Hi LC75,

in Server Management Suite you must use different accounts in different Security Roles to have separated access for different resources in Console, between 2 outsources.

Please check this discussion about similar case

    Thanks,

    IP.

The only multi-tenancy feature that SMP is missing is having seperate database partitons for each customer.

This means that although security roles will prevent Customer A from accessing Customer B's data via the console, both customers share the same tables within the database, which means that there may or may not be methods of obtaining Customer B's data.
