    I understand that it's recommended name the SEMS server  keys.xxxxxxxx

    Is this so with the SEEMS server? I could not find anything about it in the installation guide.

    The naming convention behind the SEMS is only to support easy key lookups in an email encryption environment.  As SEE only does drive and removable media encryption, this does not apply.  So you can name it whatever you want :)
