  • 1.  Server is overloaded. More than 80 upload failures.

    Hi,

    I am running SEPM 11.0.4000.2295 on a W2003 server.  I keep getting notification msgs "Server is overloaded.  More than 80 upload failures."  I can't seem to find any difnitive info about this error msg.  Anyone have suggestions or ideas of how to troubleshoot this?

    Can you post a screenshot of the error? Is there anything showing in the Windows Event viewer?

    Are there errors showing in the scm-server-x.logs

    Is this Server a Webserver?

    Check the Link below:

     

    Server <servername> health status: poor. Reason: Server is overloaded. More than 80 upload failures.
     
     
    Again, you are using a very old verison of SEP. Latest is always recommended.
     
    Since, you are carrying 11.0.4000, First you would have to Migrate SEP to the version 11.0.6005 and  then to SEP 11.0.6300
     
    SEP 11.0.6300 is the Latest version.

    He cannot migrate from MR4 to RU6MP3, you have to migrate to RU6a first, then RU6MP3.

    tnx all for the replies.  Yes, this is a web server as well but I can not find reference to a coraltion between SEPM on a web server.  I have seen the post of the link above which mentions a lack of space on the system drive but it does not reference running web services. 

    Also, i'm trying to decipher log files.  Not sure what im looking for as in errors in the scm-server-x.logs file.  I've attached the file.  In regard to windows logs I don't see anything that sticks out.  There system parition has 1.30gb of space left so if this is a problem I don't understand what "More than 80 upload failures" means and how it would apply here.  What is SEPM seeing when it reports upload failures?

    SEVERE: DeltaContentTask.generateDeltaContent FAILED 4:

    This problem is fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6100.645 (RU6MP1)
