Server pegged during Windows System Scan Assessment policy
So this policy ran on one of our servers and completely pegged out the resources on it. The server is a SharePoint Web Server, 2008 R2. The administrator over this server sent this to me stating this is what was maxing it out.
STPatchAssessmentSrv.exe which when you look at the description it is stating shavlik netchk patch scanner. I thought that Shavlik was altogether different than Altiris Patch Management. I am using Symantec Management Platform 7.1 SP2 MP1 (7.1.8400). Did I miss something as far as Symantec is concerned about using Shavlik now?
