I need help, I have a server/company I inherited andthe server keeps rebooting. The event logs are constantantly giving me these errors.

Point to Point Protocol engine was unable to load the C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SymRasMan64.dll module. The specified module could not be found.

The Remote Access Connection Manager service terminated with the following error:
The specified module could not be found.

Remote Access Connection Manager failed to start because the Point to Point Protocol failed to initialize. The specified module could not be found.

Point to Point Protocol engine was unable to load the C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SymRasMan64.dll module. The specified module could not be found.

    ETC.

Now the problem I have is I don't have the username/password to log into the SEPM therefore I can uninstall. Also it tells me, when I try and uninstall this from the CP that I dont have the rights. Attached are SS's of errors when I try and remoe/repair etc.

Please help its on a 2008 server Domain Controller. The software is Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 11

    Thanx

Are you wanting to do an upgrade or just an uninstall?

If you want to quickly do an uninstall then contact support and get the cleanwipe tool to remove SEPM.

Are you building out a new architecture or upgrading. This looks like version 11.x which is end of support life.

Do you have backups that you need?

Thanx everyone for the help. I managed to find a copy of Cleanwipe, ran it on the server, rebooted and I'm happy to say the server hasn't restarted since that time.

Again thanx for your help :)
