  • 1.  Server version displays incorrectly

    Hi,

Last night, I upgraded our Symantec Encryption server from version 3.3.1 (Build 13100) to 3.3.1 MP1 (Build 13266).

The install appeared to complete successfully, it was rebooted automatically, and after checking the logs, all events completed successfully.

However, now when I logon to the server GUI and check under System > General Settings, the Server Version still displays as 3.3.1 (Build 13100).

I have downloaded and installed the client package on the PC I use to administer NetShares and found that it installs the latest version correctly. I now have a PC that displays the version as 10.3.1 MP1 [Build 13266].

    Can someone please assist?

    Regards,

    Michael

Hi Michael, It looks that you have used the "PUP lite" which updates only the client packages. You need to download the other one, which does NOT contain desktop in the filename. That one is bigger and will contain the updates for all the pieces of software (clients and server). See algo this entry http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/pgp-universal-server-patch Rgs, dcats
