Service Desk 7 is still in a closed beta and expected to be released end of August.

You will need a seperate server (64-bit OS) for it.

Feel free to drop me a note if you would like more information.

Isabela,
A bit confused on the last message.  The Altiris Service Desk 7 will still be accessible from a web browser and you will be able access the Helpdesk Console from any browser.

For more informaiton on Service Desk, view our webinar: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/958953984

Now you should be able to download from your "updated online symantec XML product listing", on your NS7 server with SIM installed, but:
- you will not have to install your SD7 server this same NS7, as only 64bit is supported, and NS7 only support 32bits...

See manuals there:

Enjoy ;-)
