  • 1.  Service desk 7.1 sp2 installation failed

    Service desk installation failed.

     

    the following error showing:-

     

    Installing Workflow Server..
    Checking Server Extensions service running
    System.ServiceProcess.TimeoutException: Time out has expired and the operation has not been completed.
       at System.ServiceProcess.ServiceController.WaitForStatus(ServiceControllerStatus desiredStatus, TimeSpan timeout)
       at Symantec.Workflow.Installer.Core.ServerExtensionsHelper.Check(Boolean fatal, Boolean start)
       at Symantec.Workflow.Installer.ServerRoles.WorkflowServerRole.Run()
       at Symantec.Workflow.Installer.InstallerManager.Run()
    Installation Failed.

    Hi Baljeet, 
     
    Can you check in services.msc the services of Workflow is running. 
     
    The service name is Symantec Workflow Server 
     
    Recommend that the Log tab is set on the account application.
