  • 1.  Service Desk 7.1 Training Materials

    Anyone know of a good place to look at Service Desk 7.1 training materials? I have been tasked with setting up the training for our IT department to be held for the conversion from Help Desk 6.x to Service Desk 7.1.

     

    Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Chris,

    I don't really have anything to point you to.  Just thought I'd share that our corporate trainer has been working on a SD training and user guide for a few months now.  She's closing in on the end and it is around 60 pages, with screenshots (yikes!).

    Symantec offers several forms of training, either onsite, virtual training, or going to a public/open enrollement course.

    We used these videos as guidance for our in-house training. They cover pretty much every aspect of SD7. We had our users log into a test instance so they could see hands-on how the interface actually works.
