This issue has been solved. See solution.
I checked updates with SIM and service desk 7.5 came up. Is this the beta or is this the live?

I was told by Support that ITMS 7.5 might not be out until end Dec/early Jan but that ServiceDesk 7.5 would be this month and could be run alongside an 7.1 SP2 MP1 platform as the NS only provides licensing info and the CMDB changes that ServiceDesk hooks into aren't that great.
And they wouldn't put a beta out on the same Product Listing as production releases, the ITMS 7.5 beta had a seperate PL.

ServiceDesk is no longer part of ITMS and their releases are now separate.
ServiceDesk 7.5 was released yesterday and it will work with SMP 7.1 SP2 (and MP1).
Workflow 7.5 will come with SMP/ITMS 7.5 release later.
ServiceDesk 7.5 is live... today.
I don't suppose you have a handy link for service desk 7.5 docs?
Kevin,
I sure do.

I guess I should also ask if this means workflow 7.5 is out too or are we going to have to wait till next month for that?
ServiceDesk 7.5 contains a pre-release version of Workflow 7.5. But because Workflow is officially part of the Symantec Management Platform, Workflow 7.5 will not be officially released until ITMS 7.5 is available.
I've been able to upgrade the licenses but the downloads don't seem to be working, at least for me. I also would expect dome docs at somepoint in the next day or so?
ServiceDesk 7.5 Documentation is now available.
