Service Desk groups missing

Hello,
My customer has installed an SD7, but when we want to add users to SD groups (Service Manager, Problem Manager, etc.) we cannot find them.
Has somebody encountered that before?
any help apreciated.

It would be helpful to have some more information. Were the groups there before and are missing now? Did you sync with Active Directory? Did you install sample data which would have created these groups? Do you have any groups or are they all missing?

I have just solved the incident by reinstalling the Service Desk Solution. I assume my customer had aborted the installation before it was finished (due to poor performances on the server).
