    Hello everyone!!

I'm working on a Service Desk POC for the first time. and when installing the Workflow Platform, I get the message

    The workflow silent install failed

Then, when running the system diagnostic, I got the Workflow Persistent Queue warning. Have a look:

I've tried installing and repairing but always got the same error.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance

The persistance test isn't of importance as it won't stop the installation of ServiceDesk. To find out what specifically failed during the Workflow install you will need to look at the install log specifically for Workflow. This can be found in %programfiles%\symantec\workflow\logs.

It looks like your WF install failure arises from an inability to set up PM in the portal. Do you have IIS installed? Looking at the logs might help with the issue.

The failed Workflow Server to ProcessManager portal connection test is simply attempting to perform a login into the ProcessManager portal. With the log viewer open attempt to load the ProcessManager portal. More then likely an error will be generated telling you there is a missing file or something else is wrong.

I'm still having the same problem.

I came around with a checklist:

    - Review SQL Server permissions, and the domain account I use is as dbadmin

    - The domain account I use is as server domain

    - Workflow install ok now, but Workflow Persistence Queue is still with Warning icon.

Wonder if anyone knows if Service Desk will work with this issue still?? Someone has trouble with it before?

    Thanks!

So I installed Service Desk and its last components. The final configuration is as shown in the pic below:

Haven't tested Service Desk yet. Should I be worry about that warning message though???

In my experience you don't have to worry about that warning message.
