After talking to support today I was told that the next release of SD 7 should be released in a week or two.  I was also told that cube reporting would not be included in this or future releases.  Symantec is including additional reports.  Many other fixes are being included with this release.

Isnt MR1 already released ?

You are right about MR1.  Now that I think about it I'm not sure whether he said it would be a MR or a SP.  Either way he said that it is scheduled for next week (unless a last minute problem comes up).  I actually called for help with the cube reporting install and that's when he told me that it wasn't going to be included.  I just wanted to get this out there for anyone like me who was about to spend some time trying to get the cubes working.

We have been working extensively with Symantec Customer Support to rollout SD7. In all of the discussion that I have had with Technical Support they have called it "MR2."

We have put this project on hold until MR2 is released. Does anyone know if Symantec has given an official release date? 

I am surprised that cube reporting is not going to be included. We have had it installed for nearly two months now.

According to the release notes they are replacing cubes with IT Analytics, which I believe in all reality are cube reports written by Bay Dynamics.

Anybody able to upload MR2 notes?  KB is hidden to me.

Just been told that those docs were published before the code and that's why they've been pulled. Should be republished within the week.

Looks like the release notes were released by mistake and that they were not supposed to be released. Sadly ironic. Symantec Technical support said that the have delayed the release but would not give me a date. "Later this month," was the language that they used.

They also said to watch SIM for Service Desk Solutions 7.0 MR1 to be replaced with MR2, or to watch for the release notes.

I've been told that MR2 will be released today.

I just noticed that MR2 is now available for download in SIM.

I can't find the release notes though, does anyone else have an issue with that?

Hmmm, me neither - standard KB or Partner one ....
