    Hello all,

I was curious if there are language packs for ServiceDesk 7.5 SP1. The majority of our users are in English, but we are recently pushing our ServiceDesk usage to international sites. With doing so, we need some users to have an English format, while others can use Chinese, French, Spanish, etc...

Can this be done within one ServiceDesk environment by using language packs? I read in another discussion there are 10 different languages, but will that change the language format for all users, or can I somehow choose which users see each language?

    Thanks!

    Steven B.

As far as the Process Manager piece goes of ServcieDesk goes, the language displayed depends on your browser preferences. If your primary language is French in the browser, then French will be displayed for example.

I've tested this in Google Chrome. I went into settings and changed the browser language to Spanish; however, it still shows everything in English.

PM uses resource files for most of the labels on aspx pages... they should exist in an App_Resources directory or similar at the page level on the web server. I'd check to see if these are there. If the are, check using another browser... I remember that this functions in FF

You're absolutely correct. Not sure why it doesn't work in Chrome, but tested in Firefox with success.

    Thanks for the help!
