    Hi all,

I need a solution to clone Change requests.

My objective is to create a change request and assign to a quality environment (Service), and have a equal Change with another id assigned to a production environment.

I need something like a button (can be in process type actions) that the technician press and the form ask what is the process id and automatically the workflow create a new change with the same information.

Have anyone an idea to do this?

    Thanks

Can you provide some more details about how this would work?  Currently there are a lot of problems with the suggestion.  Duplicate titles, descriptions, and other items would be the first that I can think of.  Making sure that linked incidents were properly copied and attachments were duplicated would be needed as well for a clone, just to mention a few items.  Or are you suggesting just title and description?

    Thanks

Brent, Other change management products can do this (Remedy in particular), and it is very useful functionality, particularly if you have recurring changes or the use case eladio described. It is complicated, as you need to specify which change elements you want to copy and which to set explicitly.
